In January 2025, Hồng and Gerhard traveled to Vietnam. During this trip, they visited the students at Võ Thành Trang High School and An Phú Đông High School. Also accompanying them were Ms Ngọc Anh and MsHoàng Yến.
Visit Võ Thành Trang High School in Tân Phú.
On January 5th, 2025, Ms Ngọc Anh, Ms Hoàng Yến, and Mrs Hồng arrived at Võ Thành Trang High School to meet with Deputy Principal Mai and talk with the students who were receiving the Greenleaves's Scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year. They also had the opportunity to meet a few former students of the school whom chị Hồng had not yet met.
Before presenting gifts and giving out Lunar New Year "lì xì" (red envelopes with lucky money) to the students, Ms Ngọc Anh shared some words of encouragement, urging the students to work hard, not only for their own futures but also to help their families, society, and those around them.
For those students who did not receive additional "lì xì" from the sponsorship but only the 200,000 VND from the Greenleaves's Scholarship, they were invited to participate in a lucky draw for a special "lì xì" and consolation prizes.
In addition, two students, Võ Như Tuyết and Dương Minh Toàn, were given encouragement gifts for their persistent efforts in studying.
Although she is not an outstanding student, Võ Như Tuyết was also given an additional encouragement award because she is a child with intellectual disabilities. Despite having average academic performance, she has made great efforts to continue her studies. This year, she is in 12th grade.
Dương Minh Toàn, from the 2023-2024 academic year, graduated from vocational school in the refrigeration engineering field. He plans to study an additional year to supplement his studies from grades 10 to 12. Under this supplementary program, he will only need to focus on core subjects like Math and Literature, instead of all subjects. After completing the additional year, he must serve two years in military service. Once he finishes, with his vocational high school diploma and the supplementary education certificate, he will meet the requirements to pursue higher education at a college. From being an average student in grade 9, through his efforts and determination, he has completed high school with good archievements, which is truly commendable.

Visit High School An Phú Đông, District 12
On January 11th, 2025, Ms Ngọc Anh, Ms Hoàng Yến, and Mrs Hồng visited An Phú Đông School to meet with Ms. Liên and the students who had transferred from Phạm Văn Chiêu Primary School. These students were now in the 6th grade at An Phú Đông for the 2024-2025 school year.
After handing out gifts, Lunar New Year "lì xì" envelopes, and conducting a lucky draw for those who did not receive additional "lì xì" from the sponsorship but only the 200,000 VND from the Greenleaves's Scholarship, the group enjoyed a meal together at the Jollibee fast food restaurant. For the children, this was a special highlight, as visiting a fast food restaurant had always been a big dream for them.
