In November 2020 Ms. Ngoc Anh visited 20 students from the primary school Hòa Hiệp in Cần Giờ and the primary school Phạm Văn Chiêu in District 12, who applied for the Greenleaves scholarship program of the school year 2020-2021.

Ms. Ngoc Anh also visited the families at home. Most of them belong to the poor households classified by the state with income below the subsistence level. However, many children dream of a future as a teacher, doctor, police officer, etc.

Below is the list of children who have not yet found a sponsor. The photos are published here.

 1 Huỳnh Thị Mỹ Kiều 4/1 She is the oldest of 4 children. Her father works as a crockle picker or casual worker, her mother has to stay at home to take care of the young children.
 2 Nguyễn Chế Kim Ngọc 3/2 The parents are divorced, she lives with her older brother (15y) and her grandparents. Her grandfather is 65 years old and works as a fisherman.
 3 Nguyễn Thanh Phúc 4/1 The parents work as construction workers, his mother collects mussels on weekends and sells them.
 4 Nguyễn Văn Hậu 4/1 His father is fisherman, his mother collects mussels and peels cashews for little wages. The house roof is made of palm leaves.
5 Trần Trương Anh Thư 3/1 The parents are paid workers, the 17-year-old sister is currently learning to be a hairdresser. Anh Thư wants to become a maths teacher.
6 Nguyễn Thị Thanh Vy 4/2 The parents are factory workers. She lives with her grandparents. Her 52-year-old grandfather is construction worker, her 50-year-old grandmother crockle picker.
7 Tạ Thanh Nhân 4/2 His ather is a paid worker, his mother crockle picker. He had
bone tuberculosis, suffers from atrophy, and has a handicaped leg.
8 Nguyễn Vi Anh Thư 4/1 Her father died in 2010, her mother works as a seafood seller, she has a twin sister.
9 Lê Thành Phát 3/1 His ather is a paid worker, his mother is housewife. The 17-year-old sister did not pass the exam for the 10th grade, the 15-year-old brother also left school, both now work in a restaurant. But Phát did well at school, his favorite subject is math and he would like to become a police officer.

 10 Thái Ngọc Bích Trâm 2/7 the parents divorced when she was a few months old. Her grandparents raised her. Her grandfather is unable to work, her grandmother works as a loaner, selling mussels and vegetables at the market, 3 other grandchildren (22 years old, 23 years old) also live in the household, both of them have given up school to support the family financially.
 11 Tăng Nguyễn Gia Hân 2/1 Her father occasionally works as a painter and as a crab moped driver. Her mother sells vegetables on the street. The 17-year-old brother left school after the 6th grade. However, she did well at school and would like to become a doctor.
 12 Phạm Nguyễn Hồng Ngọc 2/2 Her father works as a delivery driver, her mother as a seamstress. The family is one of the poor households classified by the state.
 13 Võ Nguyễn Hoài My 2/5 Her father works as a delivery driver, her mother in a textile factory.
